1 rack of pork ribs
1/2 cup of Richard's Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup of Vermont Maple Syrup
salt and pepper to taste
Combine the first 4 ingredients together and pour over ribs in a glass baking dish. Refrigerate for 2 hours (or overnight) turning ribs over mid-way through for even marinating. Remove the ribs from the dish, reserving sauce.
Add to the reserved sauce:
1/2 cup more of Richard's Barbecue Sauce
1/2 cup of additional liquid -- fresh water, beer or dry wine
Place ribs in a slow cooker or crock pot and pour the marinade sauce over them. Following directions supplied with your cooker, turn it on a low setting. When you come home after a day of work, shopping or hard play, you'll have a delicious meal prepared!
